Recently, I was gifted with a remarkable phone conversation with underwater researcher and explorer, Mike Daniel. Little need be said about the accomplishments of this amazing man who discovered the Queen Anne's Revenge (aka: Q.A.R.) just offshore of North Carolina.
Mike shared the incredible story of finding this magnificent vessel along a sandbar that Captain Edward Teach, otherwise known as Blackbeard, ran aground and sunk abandoning his crew to their imminent deaths more than three hundred years ago.
